There are a few admin features on this website, such as the ability to post things. One of these features is a list of the most recent search queries. This list is designed to help us catch malicious users combing the archives for quotes they can use to misrepresent what I've said in the past. So far, the only person who seems to have done this is a user named "Yo Mama," so it's probably safe to say they did not have good intentions.
Anyway, it is interesting to see how many topics have been searched for lately that are specifically addressed in the next book that will be published, called "Learning and Living the Character of Christ." My little list only contains the most recent entries, but if memory serves, recent search topics that will be addressed in the book have included: baptism, priesthood, born again, garments of righteousness, mercy, justice, friends, justification, sanctification, eternal life, and the name of the Lord. Some YouTube comments have also overlapped in topic (hell, carnal commandments, priesthood).
This makes me think of the following scripture:
For behold, angels are declaring it unto many at this time in our land; and this is for the purpose of preparing the hearts of the children of men to receive his word at the time of his coming in his glory. (Alma 13:24)
Apparently, the same spirit that is guiding the writing of this book is also guiding you in the things you are looking to learn more about.
Some will say that this would be just as true with any book that covers so many topics. I suppose that either way, a lot of people are going to have a lot of questions answered!
I can say this is certainly true for myself; and, I’m glad to see it’s true for others as well!
I love this. The thought that came immediately to mind upon reading was that recognizing how easy it is to take things from God lightly is a big barrier to coming closer to him. If thoughts come to us about aspects of his Gospels and they sink deeply into our hearts as we ponder them, if they aren't from him then who are they from? How do those thoughts come to you if not by angels? Really looking forward to the book Rob.
