Having the spirit of God with you in greater quantities does not make it easier to obey him. Rather, it gives you more and better instructions to obey.

Being born again is only as permanent a state as your choice to continue in perfect obedience to God.

You will only be under the influence of God as much as you choose to be. Your access to the Holy Ghost does not make it impossible for you to choose to sin:

9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. (Romans 8)

You remain born again until you sin again. If you willingly sin, you will return to the same state you were in before being forgiven of your sins.

The spirit of God will not abide in unclean temples:

And he doth not dwell in unholy temples; neither can filthiness or anything which is unclean be received into the kingdom of God.... (Alma 7:21)

If you willingly disobey God, the Holy Ghost will withdraw from you:

36 And now, I say unto you, my brethren, that after ye have known and have been taught all these things, if ye should transgress and go contrary to that which has been spoken, that ye do withdraw yourselves from the Spirit of the Lord, that it may have no place in you to guide you in wisdom’s paths that ye may be blessed, prospered, and preserved—
37 I say unto you, that the man that doeth this, the same cometh out in open rebellion against God; therefore he listeth to obey the evil spirit, and becometh an enemy to all righteousness; therefore, the Lord has no place in him, for he dwelleth not in unholy temples. (Mosiah 2)
