Do you know what God knows? God knows all things.2 Do you?3 He knows how everything came to be,4 and how everything comes to an end.867 He knows the relationship between all things and how everything affects everything else. He knows the true worth of all things. He knows all possible actions, their long-term cost, and their long-term benefit.
Most will readily admit that their knowledge is far less than God’s knowledge, but few realize that this means that they also do not know his character. God’s knowledge is a fundamental part of his character. How can you know what God would do, why he would do it, or how he would feel in doing so if you don’t know what he knows? If there remains anything that he knows that you do not yet know, then even if you know him somewhat, you do not know him fully. To fully know how he is, you would also have to fully know what he knows.
