God invites all people to come to know him better, all of the time.2 While knowledge about God is a limitless feast,3 individuals differ significantly in how much of it they obtain and live. Different people desire to know more about God with different intensities. How much you learn about him is determined by the effort you exert in searching for more4 and the obedience you exercise in applying what you know.5
God’s knowledge is an unending resource that we are meant to continue seeking after indefinitely.6 Only those who continually search for more of God’s knowledge obtain eternal life.7 Those who stop searching after God’s knowledge will experience the loss of some of the knowledge they have obtained,900 although their diminished awareness will make this more difficult to notice.901
If you believe that God knows all things902 and that he cares more about your eternal joy than you do,903 it should be extremely easy to constantly seek his guidance on all things in your life.904 You will constantly seek and joyfully feast on any knowledge he is willing to give.905 The blessing of desiring more knowledge about and from God is obtaining and living according to it.906 Those who do not seek greater knowledge about and from God turn away from his offered gift to help them become better and achieve more than they ever could in and of themselves.907
