Change your people, places, and situations

Footnotes

Your surroundings affect your long-term outcomes and short-term feelings much more than most realize. The people,1 places,2 and situations3 around you can boost or attenuate the good in your life to a shocking extent.

Find people, places, and situations that provide you with opportunities to improve, reasons to improve, and examples of improvement to follow. Avoid people, places, and situations that tune out, diminish, or obstruct your ability to discover and become more than you are and to do better than you do.
