Closing the distance

Footnotes

Everyone who has experienced the effects of the spirit is familiar with how they come and go. But the changes from quickening need not be limited to those that suddenly arrive and suddenly depart. While the spirit is like the wind,1 it is also like a never-exhausting spring of flowing water.2 Increasing the second type occurs as you choose differently as a result of experiencing the first.

You can retain the changes that come through quickening through changing how you think, feel, and act to align with the thoughts and feelings that come through the quickening. The more you modify how you think, feel, and act to align with what you learn from spiritual experiences, the more of them you will have.
