It is rare to find someone willing and able to righteously judge others. Many refuse to criticize others under the erroneous idea that

Jesus wouldn’t approve of it. The fact is that the Lord commanded us to judge as he would in our place.1 Others violate the Lord’s instruction by judging others while they still willingly do less than their best.2

You should never criticize anyone while you are doing less than the best you know. You cannot accurately judge anyone while you are intentionally deviating from your idea of what is best:

41 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
42 Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother’s eye. (Luke 6)

The best thing an unrepentant person can do is to repent by forsaking all their sins. The second best thing an unrepentant person can do is to follow the lesson of the parable of the Unjust Steward, doing all possible to forgive the perceived faults of all people (see Luke 16). The worst thing an unrepentant person can do is to judge others.3
